Currach Bed and Breakfast is in the village of Port of Menteith and is just

located 5 miles (8km) south west of Callender. It is the main landing place
from the island of Inchmahome on the Lake of Menteith where trout fishing
is undertaken. Glasgow and Edinburgh are an hour away and Stirling is a
25 minute drive to visit Stirling Castle and the National Wallace Monument.
Port of Menteith, on the border of the Trossachs and Loch Lomond National
Park is considered to be the gateway to the Highlands whilst being an ideal
touring base for central Scotland.
Four miles away, Aberfoyle boasts several shops, pubs and restaurants and
a beautiful 18 hole golf course.
